How do I make an impact on my team?
The Bistro Café by Courtyard Marriott provides refreshing to-go options as well as full sit-down options for breakfast and dinner including food, cocktails, wine, beer, and Starbucks coffee. Our friendly and attentive Morning Barista Server Part Time will help to brighten the day for our hotel guests in this fast-paced Bistro Café environment.
The Bistro Café by Courtyard Marriott provides refreshing to-go options as well as full sit-down options for breakfast and dinner including food, cocktails, wine, beer, and Starbucks coffee. Our friendly and attentive Morning Barista Server Part Time will help to brighten the day for our hotel guests in this fast-paced Bistro Café environment.
- Greet every guest with a friendly smile and welcoming attitude
- Complete opening and closing duties (setting up, stocking, and maintaining work areas)
- Take guests’ orders and obtaining payment and providing correct change
- Communicate meal requirements, in regards to allergies, dietary needs, and special requests, to the kitchen
- Prepare and serve beverages (coffee drinks, cocktails, wine, and beer) in addition to serving food to our guests
- Prepare ingredients for cooking and cooking the food according to recipes
- Setting up meeting room for conferences and servicing the meeting room
What does success look like in this role?
- Quick service/barista experience a plus, food handlers card preferred
- Must be available to work 2 to 4 shifts a week from 5am-11am
- Motivated to maintain excellent customer service reputation
- Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Reliability and honesty
- Desire to contribute to a supportive and effective team
